Downer Day

Today I got a call from the Radiation guy.....leaves me a message to call Joe Blow (substitute name). I don't know Joe Blow from cow dung. Anyway I called and he told me who it was.
Bad news. We're (read that he is) going to delay the Radiation until the Chemo is finished. Seems the angle is not exactly right and he would blow away more of my lung that he wanted to. After the Chemo the spot should be smaller and easier to handle.
Oh, that's life. We have to play the cards we're delt. Right?
Have a call in for the Medical Oncologist so we can a better idea of what's going to happen now. Increase in chemo drug dosages? Longer chemo schedule? Wait and see.
