This guy is GREAT!! Takes time to talk, answer questions, etc. He whispers the word "cancer" though. I guess he must think that by doing that it's going to lessen the impact on the patient (me). NOT !
He then scheduled a PET scan to see if this stuff has spread anywhere else. This was done one day (during work) and I really expected to light the thing up like a Christmas Tree. Turned out to be a lot less than I thought, but still very serious.
Next comes the visit to the Medical Oncologist and the Radiation Oncologist.....the fun's just beginning.
