Chemo - 2nd Round - Post 2 day

Another day when things weren't great. I have/had been told to expect that
but it doesn't help how you feel.
Actually managed to get down a decent serving of dead yard bird (chicken) and
a couple of mashed up red potatoes last evening. Nothing really tasty but it
was food. Still drinking H2O, plain. Just can't make myself try the flavor
additives......truth is I'm beginning to become accustomed to water. YUK!
Folks at work have been great! Understanding and pitching in.

Another note from The Older Daughter!
Getting used to plain old water? Curious - do you prefer it ice cold or room temp or somewhere in between? (Perhaps a new poll for your blog?)
Love you a bunch!

I am enjoying and learning a lot from your blog. You might be interested in a 1981 essay by Alice Stewart Trillin, entitled "Of Dragons and Garden Peas: A Cancer Patient Talks to Doctors." Published in vol. 304, No. 12 of The New England Journal of Medicine. It was given to me as a freshman in medical school and I have referred to it often. You were wrong about one thing though, I am a "LOW friend in a low place" just humbly trying to do His work. Keep writing...we are reading...and learning.

Older Daughter, the "POLL" gadget is broken. I prefer room temp to cool. Ice cold is for beer and soft drinks.
Love you too!!

eatjr,
I'm so glad you "visited" my little
corner of the world where I can be me. It helps to sometimes let off some "steam".
You know that we both think a great deal of you. You will probably never realize what you have done for me and what it means.
You do His work in wonderful ways.

I put up a poll a day or so ago. It didn't want to work when I allowed more than one answer. It prefers radio buttons to check boxes - I guess we all get to be picky about something!
